You guys!! I’m really excited to share that I got that M on my driver’s license and learned to ride motorcycles!! It was a fun, intense and a bit stressful weekend but I can now ride!! Let the adventures begin!
After a couple of days of book nerding, theory and homework (boo! Not as exciting but equally as important) the fun part of actually learning how to ride motorcycles was here! Of course, it was cold and rainy the WHOLE weekend but I figured that if I could learn how to ride in difficult conditions, riding on dry asphalt would be a piece of cake, right?! I geared up from the floor up and saddled up on the provided little Honda!
The class was fun and challenging (especially that figure 8, seriously who even does that in real life?! Oh and right turns) but I learned a lot! The hubby was there to watch and support me and he was as proud as could be! 🙂
Stalling more than 3 times, falling, putting your foot down, crossing the line and you instantly fail. No pressure! I didn’t do any of these (thank goodness) but a few mistakes here and there had me thinking that I had failed the test 🙁 But thankfully I didn’t! Just lost a few points for going too slow (haha! Grandma riding!)
I’m so excited to have my motorcycle license! Now I just need to practice a bit more in parking lots/quiet streets before I can hit the road on some two wheeled expeditions!
