We got a new toy!!! The hubby has always dreamed of having a Triumph Scrambler and the perfect one came up so, of course, we couldn’t pass it up. He was on the hunt for one of these beauties for months (Craigslist and eBay alerts in a 200 miles radius on top of scrolling through the pages every day “just in case” – madness!) when this brand new Scrambler showed up for sale!
Pristine conditions and only 400 miles! What?! This 2013 Triumph Scrambler is our new shiny toy. The hubby is obsessed with the high pipes! Me? Not sold. Anyone else have an irrational fear of having their pants catch on fire from the heat of the exhaust? My father-in-law told me that one of his friends caught her pants on fire on her Harley’s pipe. So it could happen. But it won’t (right? RIGHT?)
It’s a bit of a contradiction. A Scrambler is supposed to be off-road and dirty. But this one is so clean!
I am sure that won’t last long though…
Someone (*cough*casey*cough*) was being his typical cautious Casey and was making sure my jacket button didn’t come even close to the gas tank. I don’t blame him, though. I wouldn’t want to scratch the impeccable paint.
